Update an existing installation

Update Galigeo.war

If you update an existing installation, then you need to update the Galigeo.war web application to your Tomcat.

advice Before doing the update, we advice you do a backup of the <GALIGEO_HOME> directory.

  1. Stop the Tomcat service
  2. Remove the folder <TOMCAT_HOME>/webapps/Galigeo
  3. Override the new Galigeo.war on <TOMCAT_HOME>/webapps/Galigeo.war
  4. Restart Tomcat

Reset the config

Updating the installation does not change the configuration of the application.

If you want to use the default panels and basemaps configuration, delete the file <GALIGEO_HOME>/config/config.json
